Once the certificate is activated, validated and issued, it needs to be installed on your appliance.<\/span><\/p>\n

First, you need to <\/span>download<\/span><\/a> your issued SSL certificate. Once the SSL is downloaded, please extract it and rename to <\/span>server.crt.<\/strong><\/p>\n

   Note: <\/strong>Due to the peculiarity of the server, it is necessary to use default file names; the router will identify  the file without any issues:<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Create a .zip file with two files. Please take the .crt downloaded from the SSLs.com Account Panel and also, use server.key generated during CSR creation on your SSL-VPN appliance. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The easiest way to create a zip file is to copy both files into a specific folder, select these files, right-click on them, and then click <\/span>Send to > Compressed Folder.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    2. Log into the SonicWALL SSL-VPN appliance portal.  <\/span>    <\/span><\/p>\n

    3. <\/span>After that, please expand the <\/span>System<\/strong> menu and click <\/span>Certificates<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

    4. Then it is needed to install CA certificates in order to make your website compatible in browsers. <\/span><\/p>\n

    5. <\/span>On the <\/span>System > Certificates<\/strong> page, in the <\/span>Additional CA Certificates<\/strong> section, click <\/span>Import CA Certificate<\/strong>:<\/span><\/p>\n

    <\/span><\/p>\n

    Please upload the file downloaded from the SSLs.com Account Panel with the .ca-bundle extension:
    \n<\/span><\/p>\n

    <\/span><\/p>\n

    6. In the Server Certificates<\/strong> section, click Import Certificate<\/strong>:<\/span><\/p>\n

    <\/span><\/p>\n

    7. <\/span>In the opened <\/span>Import Certificate<\/strong> window, click <\/span>Browse<\/strong>, locate and open the <\/span>.zip<\/strong> file that you created. <\/span><\/p>\n

    8. Click Upload:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

    <\/span><\/p>\n

    Once it is imported, the certificate will appear in the <\/span>Server Certificates<\/strong> list on the <\/span>System > Certificates<\/strong> page.<\/span><\/p>\n


    \n<\/span>9. And now you need to configure your SSL Certificate.<\/span><\/p>\n


    \n<\/span>  a) On the <\/span>System > Certificates<\/strong> page, in the <\/span>Server Certificates<\/strong> section just right next to your SSL Certificate with the pending request, click the <\/span>Configure<\/strong> icon.<\/span><\/p>\n

      b) At the next step, please specify the password created during the CSR code generation. <\/span><\/p>\n

      c) Click the <\/span>Submit <\/strong>button.    <\/span><\/p>\n

    10. Now it is needed to implement the changes.<\/span><\/p>\n

      a) In the <\/span>System > Certificates<\/strong> section, please select the corresponding certificate.<\/span><\/p>\n

      b) In the top right corner of this page, click <\/span>Apply<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

      c) If you are not prompted to restart your SonicWALL SSL-VPN appliance, please restart it manually.<\/span><\/p>\n

    11. In order to restart the SonicWALL appliance, please expand the <\/span>System<\/strong> menu and then click <\/span>Restart<\/strong>:<\/span><\/p>\n

    <\/span><\/p>\n

    12. The SSL Certificate has been successfully installed.<\/span><\/p>\n
