Comodo CA<\/span> (Certification Authority), our SSL certificate provider has changed their brand name to <\/span>Sectigo CA<\/span><\/a> as of November 2018<\/strong>. <\/span><\/p>\n

Comodo CA has been our exclusive partner since December 2016. Comodo CA is the largest commercial SSL provider, and has issued more than 100 million TLS\/SSL certificates.<\/span><\/p>\n

What has changed?<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Company and brand name.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Trustlogo image and snippet.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. The new Comodo site address is\u00a0<\/span>sectigo.com<\/span><\/a>. SSL <\/span>DCV<\/span><\/a> and validation messages will eventually be sent from email addresses at sectigo.com.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    This change does not affect the functionality of the existing SSL certificates or the certificates that are going to be issued. Please find more information below.<\/span><\/p>\n

    FAQ<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Should I do anything with my active Comodo CA certificate?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

    \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 No. There is no need to reissue or reinstall your SSL certificate.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

    Will Comodo CA be displayed as the certificate issuer in users\u2019 web browsers?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

    \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Yes. Comodo CA will remain as the Certificate Authority shown in browsers until the new Root and Intermediate Certificates are established under the new name.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

    Will legacy Comodo CA trusted Roots and Intermediate certificates remain trusted?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

    \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Yes. Comodo <\/span><\/em>Root and Intermediate certificates<\/span><\/em><\/a> will remain trusted until their expiration date.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

    I am using Comodo TrustLogo. Should I update it?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

    \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Yes, feel free to update the TrustLogo following <\/span><\/em>these instructions<\/span><\/em><\/a>. <\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

    Will the SSL products change?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

    \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 No. All products provided by SSLs.com will have the same name and specs.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n
