We\u2019ll send you email reminders 30, 15, 7, 3 and 1 day before your Certificate expires, so you\u2019ll have plenty of opportunity to renew.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note<\/strong>: if Certificates are allowed to expire, they can\u2019t be renewed. In this case you\u2019d need to buy a brand new Certificate.<\/p>\n<p>Let\u2019s get started with your renewal:<\/p>\n<p>In your Account panel, click <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ssls.com\/user\/bundles\"><strong>My SSL<\/strong><\/a> at the upper right corner. On the next page, use the <strong>Renew<\/strong> button next to the Certificate in question to initiate the renewal process.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ssls.com\/knowledgebase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/renew_btn.png\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p>You\u2019ll be directed to the checkout page to complete your repeat purchase.<\/p>\n<p>Once done, go back to to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ssls.com\/user\/bundles\"><strong>My SSL<\/strong><\/a> list in your Account and click the <strong>Activate<\/strong> button next to the renewal Certificate you&#8217;ve just ordered.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ssls.com\/knowledgebase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/activate_ren.png\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Your next steps will depend on the Certificate type you\u2019ve renewed. Save new key<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>You have two options. Either download the new key automatically generated in your browser, or submit a manually generated CSR.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note<\/strong>: both options <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ssls.com\/knowledgebase\/IDN-Internationalized-domain-names-Support\">support IDNs with the following TLDs<\/a>. Paste in the IDN instead of typing it, to ensure no errors cause delays.<\/p>\n<p>a) <b>Create CSR in-browser<\/b><b><\/b><\/p>\n<p>This is a default option in your Account panel, after specifying the domain for your Certificate. You can request the CSR from your hosting provider, or generate it yourself.
