You can, however, change the used hostnames via\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ssls.com\/knowledgebase\/How-can-I-get-my-certificate-reissued\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">reissue<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Another solution is to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ssls.com\/knowledgebase\/How-can-I-receive-refund\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">request cancellation and refund<\/a> of the existing certificate within the acceptable refund grace period and purchase the new one with the correct amount of additional domains.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>IMPORTANT NOTE<\/strong>: The validity period and cost of any extra SANs (Subject Alternative Names &#8211; further domains added to the Multi-Domain SSL certificate), bought following the initial certificate purchase <strong>will not be prorated<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>What does this mean?<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>If you add a SAN to the Multi-Domain certificate after purchasing, it <strong>will be the same price<\/strong> as the SAN added to the Multi-Domain certificate during the initial purchase;<\/li>\n<li>The SAN will have the <strong>same validity period<\/strong> as the certificate it is attached to regardless of when the additional SAN was purchased.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>After the certificate is issued, the number of available SANs (hostname slots) cannot be decreased.
