Starting July 11, 2026, SSL certificates activated through your account will be issued by a new Certificate Authority — SSL.com.
What changes on July 11:
- Nothing changes in practice except some product names, and the issuer information shown inside the SSL certificate details. For OV and EV certificates, validation-related emails may come from different email addresses.
- Existing SSL certificates will continue functioning normally. Newly activated SSL certificates will be issued by a new Certificate Authority automatically.
If you specifically want certificates issued by the current Certificate Authority—Sectigo, please activate any unused certificates before July 11, 2026. Any unused SSL certificates activated since this date will be automatically replaced with the equivalent product shown below. If the replacement product is priced lower, the difference will be automatically credited to your account funds.
