What is the difference between www.domain.com and domain.com?

The difference in coverage of www and non-www hostnames is determined by technical features of a particular SSL type. Most of the certificates available on our website support automatic coverage of both www and non-www domains.

Special attention should be paid to Comodo (now Sectigo) multi-domain certificates, since they do not provide a bonus www or non-www SAN for the primary domain and additional domains. Multi-domain certificates consider www.example.com and example.com to be two different domains.

The tables below represent www and non-www support for all SSL certificates offered by us.
